It is with sadness, that we inform you that Archbishop Marcel Gervais passed away on Sunday August 6,2023.

We are saddened to announce that Mrs. Lucille Durocher, passed away on June 24, 2023. She was the mother of the Most Rev. Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau. Archbishop Durocher was Auxiliary Bishop in the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie from 1997 to 2002.

Sister Frances Gavin (Sister St. Walter) transitioned into God’s heart for eternity on March 27, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Motherhouse, North Bay, Ontario.
