On September 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm was held the dedication of the new Sacré-Coeur Church in Sturgeon Falls. The Most Reverend Marcel Damphousse, Bishop of Sault Ste. Marie, presided over the ceremony. He was accompanied by Father Basil Agré, Pastor of the parish, Father Jean Vézina, Chancellor of the Diocese and four other priests of the region. Many parishioners also took part in the ceremony.

Fr. Peter Moher's sister, Mrs. Mary Sheer-Hennings (Moher), died in Huntsville on October 10, 2018 at the age of 63. We offer our most sincere condolences to Fr. Peter and his family. We assure them of our prayes and support.
