March 7, 2023The Northern Ontario Catholic Leadership Conference "Level Up" held February 25, 2023 at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall in North Bay brought together 167 teenagers from across Northern Ontario and represented the Dioceses of Sault Ste. Marie, Peterborough, Pembroke and Timmins and eight Catholic and public school boards.
The day included faith sharing, prayer, music, confession, Adoration and inspirational talks from our Keynote Speaker Ken Yasinski, who encouraged teenagers to live their God-given purpose in life.
96% of the teenagers in their evaluation praised the day, agreed that they were given an opportunity to encounter Jesus, and that they would attend this Conference next year.
Thank you to the many priests, religious, volunteers, teachers, school chaplains, sponsors and Catholic organizations who helped make this Conference a great success. Thanks be to God!
