June 16, 2023In August 2023, the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa will be leaving the Diocese of Sault Ste-Marie. Since their arrival in the Sudbury area in 1896, the community has worked in the Diocese of Sault Ste-Marie for 127 years, setting up many pastoral works of charity in the fields of health and education, and so much more.
A celebration of thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 4:00 pm, at Ste-Anne-des-Pins parish, Sudbury, to honour the Sisters in recognition of the community's great contribution to our region.
