The Easter Triduum is the most important feast in the Christian calendar, commemorating as it does the most important mysteries of our faith. The Covid-19 pandemic severely restricted the ability of the Church to celebrate Easter last year.
We know that, still this year, there will be people who cannot attend the Easter celebration in a church. Following the recent positive experience of Ash Wednesday, the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie will be offering the faithful the chance to renew their basptismal promises and be blesses with holy water in their homes.
