  Thomas Edward Dowd is a Canadian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. Appointed by Pope Benedict XVI, Dowd served as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Montréal from 2011-2020. On 22 October 2020, Pope Francis named him Bishop of the Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie and was enthroned at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption, North Bay on December 17, 2020.
